The Murray State Rifle program announced the signing of Bill Harvey, of North Huntington, Pa.
Harvey was introduced to the sport by his father and has been shooting for seven years.
He placed third in his age group at the 2009 National Junior Olympic Rifle Championship in the smallbore competition.
Harvey was also the Pennsylvania State 3P Outdoor 50m Champion.
"We are happy to have Bill with us at Murray State," MSU head coach Alan Lollar said. "He is a hard working shooter, and has a lot of potential. He has competed well in competition at the national level and brings to the team the positive attitude that we are looking for."
