Cheerleaders Host Second Annual Mini Camp January 31

Courtesy: Lance Allison The Racer cheerleaders will be hosting a free clinic for elementary and middle school students Saturday, Jan. 31.
The Murray State cheerleading squad will be hosting the
second MSU Cheerleading Appreciation Day for local elementary and middle school
students, Saturday, Jan. 31.The day
will consist of a free two-hour long clinic taught by the Racer Cheerleaders.The clinic will be held from 12 p.m. to 2
p.m. in the Carr Health South Gym.During
this clinic, the squads and mascots will learn a cheer, chant, and dance.These will be performed at halftime of the
MSU Women and Men’s basketball games that evening.
Practice clothes will be needed for clinic.Following the clinic, the cheerleaders will
dismiss. Each cheerleader will need to be back at RSEC arena at 4:15 p.m. prior to tip-off of the women’s game.All clinic participants are asked to wear MSU
Gear for the performances.
We encourage you to participate in this event and to also
simply enjoy a Murray State University game day.Tickets will be provided for each
cheerleader/mascot. Relatives and friends are also encouraged to attend the
game.Extra tickets will be available
for purchase at RSEC arena (270-809-5555).
