Racers Shine at Memphis Invitational

The Murray State women’s track and field team had an outstanding performance when they traveled to Memphis, Tenn. to compete in the University of Memphis Invitational.
In the 3,000-meter run the Racers swept the top three spots, with Katelyn Jones taking first (10:20.20), followed by Asenath NaAman (10:43.90), and Kayla Crusham finished third with a time of 10:44.80.
Murray State captured first place in the 4x100-meter relay. Taylor Utsey, Alexis Love, Amber Mills, and Audris Williams finished with a time of 47.34.
Williams also placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.54.
Taylor Crawford took second place with a time of 2:15.66.
The Racers will compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship meet Apr. 30th- May 1st. The meet is being hosted by Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tenn.
