The Murray State men’s tennis team dropped a 5-1 match against the University of Kentcuky Wednesday evening at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex.
Jose Berardo was able to defeat Matt Davis in two sets to give the Racers their one point for the match. Berardo won the first set, 6-3, the second set 7-6, and then the tie-breaker 7-5.
Jorge Caetano had a close match against Alex Lambropoulos, but wasn’t able to pull out a win for the Racers. Caetano won the first set, 6-4, but dropped the next two, 6-2, 6-3.
The Racers will travel to Clarksville, Tenn. on Thursday to play Austin Peay at 2:30 p.m.
