Racers Advance To Kentucky Women's Amateur
Current Racer Morgan Cross will meet former Racer Jessica Widman-Grace in the semifinals of the lower championship bracket of the Kentucky Women's Amateur in Russell Springs, Ky.

One current and two former Murray State golfers advanced in the match-play portion of the 84th Kentucky Women's State Amateur Championship at Lakewood CC in Russell Springs, Ky.
 
Current MSU player and junior to be, Morgan Cross advanced to the semifinals with a 2-up win over 11th seed Katy Humphrey.

Cross, the sixth seed faces former Racer and 2007 champion Jessica Widman-Grace, the third seed, in Thursday’s championship lower bracket semifinals at 7:56 a.m. central time. 
 
Widman-Grace, the third seed, moved on after defeating 14th seed Abby Smith 6&5.
 
Current Racer and 31st seed Jilian Brake lost her championship flight consolation match to Megan Kinney 5&4.
 
Former MSU player Tina Marshall, the fifth seed in the third flight, advanced to the semifinals with a 4&3 win over 13th seed Pam Trimble. Marshall plays Alisa Weintraub, the first seed, Thursday in the semifinals at 9:24 a.m.
 
The event ends Friday and is played at Lakewood CC to a par of 71 and 5,257 yards.
