Murray State Athletics announced that general admission tickets are still available for the men's basketball home game next week against Tennessee State on Thursday (Feb. 9).
However, the Racers' remaining Saturday games, Austin Peay (Feb. 11) and the Sears BracketBuster against St. Mary's (Feb. 18) have sold out of reserved and general admission seats. The Racers women's basketball game against SEMO on Saturday, Feb. 11 tipoff has been moved from 5:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Doors will open for Saturday's doubleheader at 3:30 p.m. and a doubleheader ticket is required for admission.
Student-tickets will be available Monday (Feb. 6) and Tuesday (Feb. 7) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in lobby B of the CFSB Center for both the Thursday (Tennessee State) and Saturday (Austin Peay) games. Students may bring up to five MSU IDs to pick up a total of five tickets for themselves and other current students. Any unclaimed student tickets at 4 p.m. Tuesday will be available for student pick-up via the ticket office in lower level lobby A of the CFSB Center on Wednesday (Feb. 8) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
On Thursday, Feb. 4, any unclaimed student tickets for either Tennessee State or Austin Peay will be available for sale to the general public or for pick up by MSU students with a valid ID starting at 8 a.m.
"Our students have been great about picking up their tickets," said Associate Athletic Director Paul Bubb. "We do not anticipate any tickets being available for the Austin Peay game and it's highly unlikely, by Thursday, any tickets will be available for Tennessee State."
The MSU Ticket Office will continue to sell tickets for Racer road games at SEMO (Feb. 15), Tennessee State (Feb. 23) and Tennessee Tech (Feb. 25). A limited number of tickets for the Racers' game at UT-Martin on Saturday (Feb. 4) remain on sale. UT Martin expects to have tickets available on Saturday for the double-header against the Racers. The Racer women tipoff at UT Martin at 4 p.m. and the men's game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. tipoff. The men's game will also be available on the Racer TV Network as well as ESPN3.
Parking close to UTM's Elam Center may be limited. Lots 28 & 42, by the UTM University and Recreation Center, are options for parking for the game. Click here for a UTM campus map.
Phone orders through the MSU ticket office (270-809-3000) will be answered as quickly as possible. Calls have been coming in at an extremely high volume resulting in frequent busy signals to the multiple lines. A $7 convenience fee accompanies all phone ticket orders. Fans are encouraged to visit the ticket office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to make their ticket purchases.
