More than 80 kids showed up to Stewart Stadium Saturday morning to participate in the second annual Meet the Racers Day.
“This is the third year for the event and the turnout has increased every year,” said head coach Chris Hatcher. “This is great opportunity for people in the community to interact with the football team, and I am not sure if the kids or the players are having more fun out here.”
The younger kids got a chance to participate in drills with the current Racers, while the older kids got to player Racer Ball. The mini-camp concluded with the kids getting to run out of the locker room through a tunnel of players.
The day ended with senior members of the football team signing autographs for the campers.
