TV Schedule For Racer Football Announced

MSU Football to be seen on the OVC Digital Network, Racer TV Network and ESPN3 this season.
2013 Schedule
Murray State Athletics and Time Warner Cable announced the broadcast 2013 schedule for Racer Football on the Racer Television Network.

The first of three live broadcasts begins when the Racers travel to Southeast Missouri State (Oct. 12) for a 1 p.m. game at Houck Stadium in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Also on the television schedule is MSU's games at UT Martin (Nov. 2) at Hardy Graham Stadium in Martin, Tenn., and Tennessee State (Nov. 16) in Nashville, Tenn., at LP Field.

The Racer TV Network is available to Time Warner, Mediacom and Murray Electric subscribers at no additional charge.
"We are excited to once again partner with Time Warner Cable in the TV broadcasts of Racer Football," said Paul Bubb, Associate AD for External Affairs. "The ability for our fans to see these games throughout Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri, is great for Murray State Football."
Time Warner customers will see the broadcasts on channel 16, while Mediacom will carry the games on channel 23 and 97. Murray Electric carries the Racers on channel 18.

In addition to the four Racer TV games, MSU's homecoming game (Oct. 19) against Austin Peay is the Ohio Valley Conference game of the week and will be seen on ESPN3. All of Murray State's OVC games with the exception of the homecoming game, will be aired online on the OVC Digital Network at no charge.

Dave Winder, MSU's Assistant AD for Media Relations, will handle play-by-play duties, while former Racer Football great Josh McKeel provides color. Â

The Racer TV Network was formed in 2008 and has delivered 55 MSU football and basketball games to the Racers loyal fan base. The broadcast schedule for Murray State men's basketball will be announced later.
