Gilmore and Cisneros Earn Weekly OVC Honors

For the first time this season, Cole Cisneros and Emma Gilmore earned cross country Runners of the Week from the Ohio Valley Conference. Both the men and women had dual scored victories over Austin Peay and Bethel during their race at the Family Life Center Cross Country Course in Clarksville, Tenn.
Gilmore took first place at the Austin Peay Invitational. She set a personal best with a 5k time of 18:37. The women's team finished with a perfect score.
Cisneros took first place at the Austin Peay Invitational. He finished the four-mile course in 21:45.
Murray State cross country continues their season October 3 at the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
