Murray State cross country and track & field held the inaugural Racer 5k Run in Murray, Kentucky at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27.Â
Participants met at the Wellness Center on MSU campus to begin their run. The route was around campus, and finally ended inside of Stewart Stadium. The event brought in 60 participants, all of which finished under 1:10:00. Nathan Ellis, who came in first place overall, finished the 5k in a time of 17:17.
MSU cross country and track & field team lined the route to help particiapants find their way and help cheer them on.
