Several Murray State students serve as interns (I-Racers) in the athletic marketing and promotions office. Each is assigned a specific sport to create and implement marketing and promotional plans for. Duties also include participating in special event planning such as Fan Jam and other as needed.
Students must be energetic, responsible, organized and motivated to assist the Murray State athletic marketing office in carrying out marketing plans for one of the top intercollegiate athletic programs in the Ohio Valley Conference. Students are required a minimum number of office hours a week not including event hours assigned.
These students are a very important part of the athletic department's success and make a tremendous impact during the school year.
